Providing Airsoft Reviews, Airsoft Gameplay & Entertainment

Industry Insider: Tapp Airsoft

Who is Tapp Airsoft?

Tapp Airsoft started as an infamous name in the Airsoft industry with the airsoft double trigger. We’re built around finding the market gap and filling it. We believe we are one of the first movers for 3D printed adapters with the Tapp Drum, extended triggers with the Blade, and soon Made in the US Airsoft Slides.

With the pandemic still ongoing, how has it affected your business? (good or bad)

The pandemic didn’t affect our sales as much as it did our supply chain. Orders were coming in because people were playing airsoft and had interest in our products. Unfortunately, all the supply chains were closed and it was hard for us to find the parts we needed. Thankfully, customers were understanding and we were able to find workarounds.

Do you feel that your company provides adequate customer service to those customers who are purchasing products from you?

We are always trying to provide the best customer service we can. All our items have a 30-day warranty and we provide lifetime support for our customers. A lot of people don’t know that we find great joy in hearing we’ve solved a customer’s problem, or can help repair a 2-year-old adapter.

What makes your company different than the ones that do the same exact thing in the industry?

We hope our competitors are providing the best player experience to their customers as we strive for. One difference I can think of is production time. We always try to have stock of all our adapters and parts. Sometimes we can’t because of shortages, but most orders ship out within 3-5 business days.

How would you describe your company’s success so far?

Not enough. While we have made great leaps in innovating, filling market gaps, and growth; the more we make the more we understand how much we could make. It makes you realize the infinite possibilities we can share with Airsofters to make their playing experience better.

Does your business give back to your community?

Unfortunately, the local Airsoft community around us is very small as the closest field is a few hours away. We intend to change that in a few years…

How do you handle negative reviews/feedback?

Luckily I haven’t really had much negativity but I know it’s bound to come. I had one freak mistake with

Constructive criticism is always taken into account and how we grow as a company to provide a better product. We’ve learned to handle the hate and negative feedback from the beginning when we announced the “paintball trigger”.

What changes have you made to your business strategy since you started?

Starting out our strategy was to make what we want to use and share it with the airsoft community; such as a big ol’ HPA drum mag for a pistol. We try to stick to this method through all of our products and designs. We are also working with many other Airsoft innovators to help bring their ideas to light and help share them around the world.

What are your current hot products that everyone is grabbing?

An adapter that allows you to put a shotgun shell right into your Hi-Capa magwell: https://tappairsoft.com/product/tapp-hi-capa-shotgun-shell-hpa-adapter/
And of course, our drum mags for GBBs, because reloading is for noobs #NoReloadGang

Where do you think the company will be in five years?

At the pace we’re going we hope to be making everything by then. We’ll have our own indoor airsoft arena, manufacturing company, and restaurant all in one.
