Industry Insider: Tactical Hostyle

Tactical Hostyle is one of those niche brands that don’t only create things for the airsoft community but also other niche markets. I got the pleasure of knowing the brand from the unique patch releases and apparel they’ve release but they are sooooo much more then that. Chris will be able to tell us some more about Tactical Hostyle.

• Can you tell the readers a little bit about your company? (What services you provide)

We started out with just the idea of Tactical Hostyle back in 2015. We were trying to figure out a company that not only would fit in with the airsoft community but could reach different businesses as well, such as military gear companies. With that being said we have managed to reach many companies relevant to Airsoft around the world. One of our main goals is to provide other products/unique gear to the community. However, the gear side is still a work in progress. Our main focus so far has been providing an array of custom patches not only of our design but also other Artist’s designs.

• With the emergence of Covid-19 how has it affected your business? (Good or bad)

It has been very beneficial for us as it gave us more time to spend with our customer base and creating new designs for Tactical Hostyle and also being able to focus in customer requests.

• In your opinion do you think that Covid has helped or hurt the industry you provide your services to? (In what ways?) 

 I think since people are not able to spend as much money out and about, they have been able to buy patches which creates that nostalgia feeling when purchasing a patch for their collection or to rock on their gear.

• Do you feel that your company provides adequate customer service to those customers who frequent your business?

I feel like customer service is one of my highest priorities & second is selling patches. If you could see my DM list of how many customers/friends, people would be amazed with the amount of time spent talking with them, going over new ideas, potentially making custom patches for them and their team.

• What are some of the major products or projects you are working on currently? 

We do have a new piece of gear that is currently in the prototype stage and hope to be able to release some details to the community soon. Also AJSTACTICALAIRSOFT and I are working on a company here based out of Florida where we will be able to make embroidered patches, which we are very excited about. More details coming out about this very soon on our Instagram and Facebook.

• What are your current hot products that everyone is grabbing?

Everyone loves Pokemon and the Ninja Turtles. I have found that it is hard to keep those in stock!
