Zion Arms R15

Hey guys this is your boy randomguykev and I am bringing you a 2 minute review of the Zion Arms R15 powered by Zion Arms. Sorry guys but it seems that M4s are still in trend but I feel like companies are starting to listen to us. Listen to us in regards to providing all the bells n whistles in a higher end gun for a more cost effective amount. The Zion Arms R15 retails for about 300 – 330 at authorized Zion Arms Dealers and to me, it is definitely hitting the marks for a solid performer.

Straight out of the box this thing is wired to deans and I feel that it’s crucial in this day and age. We are evolving and this should be sweeping the industry. Having a gun straight out of the box wired to deans is always great. Yeah it looks like your standard M4 but it’s definitely light weight, versatile, has a  licensed MLOK rail from R&D precision, has a nice trigger pull, very accurate, and very consistent FPS. Shooting around 340-345 on .20s, which is ideal for most indoor and outdoor fields in my area. The zion nebula mosfet that this thing comes with is crisp and is definitely what gives this thing that push to stand out in the M4 market. You can go from semi auto to 2 round burst, 3 round burst, 4 round burst, 5 round burst and binary. Comes with the standard quick change spring system and is super versatile for both indoor and outdoor game styles. The only con I have for this is that I definitely experienced some feeding issues with other mags that weren’t the zion provided ones or PTS ones. Sometimes it would feed, other times it wouldn’t feed but it definitely fed consistently with zion mags and PTS mag. I was using this gun provided to me by the guys from Zion Arms while I was in California and that had weird issues with the mag but the Zion mag fed consistently. When I got back to Jersey I played around with different mags to see the behavior and it was definitely spotty with the standard mags from other brands. Might not be for every gun but be mindful of the mags you use when using this gun.

All in all, for the $300 – $330 price point, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for another M4 purchase or just getting into airsoft. It doesn’t feel like it needs any work done on it and it can be used for both indoor and outdoor play. Thank you again to Zion Arms for sending this out to me. If you are a beginner please play with a rental gun before purchasing anything to see if you even like airsoft. If you are looking to purchase this gun, I will leave a link for it below.
