JAG Arms Scattergun Reaper TS

Hey guys this is your boy randomguykev and I am bringing you a 2 minute review of the Jag Arms Scattergun Reaper TS powered by Jag Precision. I will tell you right now that the experience with a shotgun is super fun. Having to really pick your shots but also knowing that you can switch from 3 to 6 round burst is sexy. I am going to be honest with you, I really only thought this had a 3 round burst until another player I gave it to showed me the 6 round burst option and I got excited. I mentally only registered that it had 3 round burst even though I checked out some other videos on this but who reads the manuals anymore, honestly? The retail cost for the Jag Arms Scattergun Reaper TS is about $300 – $320 at an authorized Jag Arms dealer.

I received this awhile ago and sent it to my guy Soto from LTD to check it out. He does a lot of things with shotguns and his knowledge on them is definitely invaluable. I will leave a link for his review on this product for you guys in my description. Once I got this back in my hands, I had to slap a tracer unit on it and go to town. This is a green gas shotgun and you put the gas into the stock of the gun to fill it up. You don’t necessarily hear anything when it’s full but you will just know. I wish it had an indicator but you kind of have to wing it. Using this thing was definitely a learning curve that I was really excited about. The 3 round burst does the job for me and this thing does chrono field legal. Another thing I learned that most people don’t know is when chronoing a shotgun that’s 3 or 6 round burst, one BB needs to be put in the shell and fired. You can’t add all of them because once it’s fired, it’s measuring all 3/6 BBs and not just the 1 that it needs. For this being my first shotgun, the main cons I had for it was that it was a bit long and I never really knew when I was out. I could keep racking the gun and as long as there’s gas it’s going to fire. You have to be able to watch your BBs and know you have limited shots. It wasn’t too heavy, solid construction, super fun to run around with and I have to hit more CQB fields with this thing to learn to get used to it.

I would definitely recommend something like this for that $300+ price point to switch up the CQB game that you normally play. It is definitely a learning curve for me but I am catching up and having lots of fun with it. Thank you again to Jag Precision for sending this out to me. If you are a beginner please play with a rental gun before purchasing anything to see if you even like airsoft. If you are looking to purchase this gun, I will leave a link for it below.
