HK 416 A5 Competition

Hey guys this is your boy randomguykev and I am bringing you a 2 minute review of the H&K Licensed 416 A5 Competition powered by Elite Force. Another M4 review but I was interested in this, only because I like how the big brother performed. When I say big brother, I am talking about the VFC version of this which is metal. This one is the CYMA version which is polymer and I am honestly liking it. If you’ve played airsoft with a metal gun, it takes a toll on you after a while so to be able to play with something you find visually appealing and still lightweight is awesome. This retails for about $250 at an authorized Elite Force dealer.

I feel like the 416 is one of those things you have to have part of your collection because it just looks and feels great. This may not be the metal version but this one is still solid for the price point. It gives you the same exact things that come on the VFC version which includes a nice adjustable A5 stock, front and rear flip up sights, ambidextrous bolt release, mag release and fire selector. Out of the box this was shooting 355 – 360 FPS on .20s. For indoor it was solid but for outdoor, I definitely would need to put some work into it so I could reach the range that I want it to. Main con for me is that it wasn’t wired to deans and I feel like everything should be wired to deans at this point. With all the advancements in airsoft, that should be something we are all on now.

With a $250 price point, performance for this gun was as expected. Yes it is another M4 and if you love the 416 look without having to break the bank for one, this is that. I would recommend this for beginner and intermediate players just getting into airsoft because of price and performance. Those experienced players not looking to break the bank of a more expensive 416 model, this is it. Thank you again to Elite Force for sending this out to me.
