The real question here is, “Who doesn’t know Gate?” It seems that gate is one of those brands that is just a NEEDED item when it comes to upgraded guns. The feeling is, “If you don’t have a Gate product in your gun, you aren’t doing it right.” A lot of new builds are starting to come with a Gate Titan or Aster already in the build. We have Jakub who is going to tell us a little bit about Gate

• Can you tell the readers a little bit about your company? (what services you provide)

GATE Enterprise was founded in 2009 and since then, we have been designing and manufacturing the most innovative AEG Control Systems and MOSFETs. In our wide offer you can find sophisticated Electronic Trigger Units like TITAN or its younger brother ASTER, as well as basic electronics protecting the replica and adding extra functions as X-ASR.  However, this is not all – for the customers searching for simple solutions or having a very specific replica with little space for additional accessories, we designed PicoAAB, the smallest, 3rd generation MOSFET with Active Brake.

Looking far into the future, we believe that there is plenty of room for innovations and that is why we have decided to design STATUS – a tactical computer mounted directly to the replica – which is planned to be released in first quarter of 2021. This new unit will give players a unique possibility of checking or changing AEG data and settings on the spot. Soon after the launch of STATUS, we will share more information about future releases that the airsoft market has not seen before.

• With the emergence of Covid-19 how has it affected your business? (good or bad)

As probably for every industry, the rapid development of the Covid-19 situation was challenging for our company. However, after quick adjustments in the production conditions and applying procedures increasing safety of our team, like remote work, we returned to business as usual and managed to avoid downtime in production.

• In your opinion do you think that Covid has helped or hurt the industry you provide your services to? (In what ways?)

It is definitely too early for analysis and honest opinion on how the industry will react.  Even today experts are not sure when the situation will be under control. That is why, to ensure that we will be able to meet the demand for our products, we are prepared for many different scenarios.

• Do you feel that your company provides adequate customer service to those customers who are purchasing your product?

High quality of customer service is one of the main pillars of our company. Our clients can contact us exactly the way they prefer. Our GCS application for ETU control has the function of sending detailed reports, together with direct contact with our specialists. We are also available on Facebook, Instagram and via e-mail. Each case is treated individually and we always do our best to help as much as we can.  Our products are created by Airsoft enthusiasts for Airsoft enthusiasts and that is why we want to support the users as they were our best friends.

• What are some of the major products or projects you are working on currently?

Our time is now mostly consumed by working on ASTER V3, the younger brother of TITAN V3 and STATUS – a tactical computer mounted directly to the replica. The units we’ve just mentioned are a part of the GATE ecosystem, which in our opinion will revolutionize the way the electronics are perceived in the airsoft industry. Just like the phones evolved from devices used only for making calls to multifunctional smartphones, MOSFETs evolved from units protecting replicas to the central computers connecting other elements of the ecosystem together. We believe that in the near future ETU will be an essential part of every single replica available on the market.
